Kasdan paired William Hurt and Kathleen Turner to sizzling effect in
this neo-noir revenge thriller for the early 80s baby boomers. Turner
seduces Hurt and then convinces him to help kill her man. If only Bill had
gone to the cinema more often... Kasdan takes obvious glee in his noir
conundrums and exploiting Turner at her vampish best in the femme
fatale role. She was never this good again. This established Kasdan as a
player beyond his origins as a scripter for George Lucas.
