Stockholm, 1975. The collective 'Tillsammans' (Together) are
celebrating Franco's death, walking around without underwear, and
not doing the washing up because it's too bourgeois. Their world is
interrupted by the arrival of one member's sister and her kids, fleeing
an abusive marriage. Gradually, their lives change, secrets come out,
and everyone ends up playing football in the snow to the sounds of Abba.
This is an entertaining feelgood film masquerading as something more;
fine as far as it goes, but like Moodysson's debut – the sweet-hearted
but rather toothless lesbian coming out tale, Show Me Love – you can't
help but wish it went a whole lot further.
