Labyrinth
Originally released: 1986
Sarah (Connelly) is no ordinary girl. Her baby brother has been kidnapped by goblins and she has thirteen hours to get to the castle at the centre of the Labyrinth and rescue him. "Piece of cake," she says breezily to the Goblin King (Bowie) – never a wise statement to a man whose pants are so tight they've made his hair stand on end. He is the last and greatest of obstacles she faces, accompanied by the reluctant Hoggle, shaggy Ludo and other Muppety friends. It's as wonderful now as when you were eight, I promise.
