Bernal caught the eye with his intense performance in Amores Perros. As
a young man who falls for his older brother's wife, and brings about
tragedies in pursuit of her, he was alternately likeable and
horrifying, but always charismatic. If he picks the right roles, he has
the talent, presence and looks to be the next Antonio Banderas.
