This Bunuel-inspired satire was Ozon's first feature. A bourgeois
family is disrupted by the arrival of a mysterious white rat, which
unleashes their hidden sexual desires. In no time, these genteel folk
are indulging in polysexuality, S&M and incest. It's
entertaining enough, but a tad predictable and adolescent for the
maker of such unusual short films as La Petite Mort and Regarde La Mer.
