Lame adaptation of Nick Hornby's chronicle of a football obsessive,
mixing in the plot of High Fidelity, his subsquent chronicle of a music
obsessive. Despite a winning performance from Pearson as the Hornby
character's dad, it pales beside the Stephen Frears / John Cusack High
Fidelity - not so much Arsenal winning the Double, as away at Crewe on a
wet Wednesday night in March.
