costume dramas, before becoming instantly famous for taking off his
costume in ITV's Pride And Prejudice. Helen Fielding then
immortalised his creation of Mr. Darcy in her Bridget Jones columns,
and now - art imitating life or what? - he is playing Mark Darcy in Bridget
Jones's Diary. After the disastrous Fever Pitch, you'd think he'd be
wary of movies set in the present day.
