"I'm just a girl," wails the soundtrack as we zoom into LA –
literally lah-lah land for Romy and Michele (Sorvino and Kudrow), best
friends since high school, now Pretty Woman wannabes dreading their
ten-year high-school reunion. Cue dumb-but-brilliant plan to return
in style and confront the small-town football hero and cheerleader
prom queen (stereo)types who ostracised them. An unfortunate
collision with class bitch (Garofalo) almost ruins the day – until
class nerd (Cumming) arrives in a limo to save it. Dump your boyfriend if
you have to, but see this film. Fuck off Ferris, Romy and Michele claim
the high school movie crown.
