3 days to the end of time in LA, simultaneously hosting the Rodney King
riots and Blade Runner. Jericho One, rapper/prophet, is dead. It's a
one-way handbasket to hell. Don't worry. The Magic Man, Lenny Nero
(Fiennes), will sell you dreams in the highly illegal form of squid –
recordings of sense-data. While obsessing over his ex (Lewis), now
shagging the slimy mogul (Wincott) who managed Jericho, Lenny gains
possession of a squid of Jericho's death. People start dying. Only one
woman (Bassett) can save Lenny's bad-tie-wearing butt, her
community, and y'all. The end of the world as we know it, and damn fine.
