Keaton discovers that he will inherit $7 million if he is married by 7pm.
Unfortunately his sweetheart (Dwyer) doesn't trust his motives and
turns him down, so an advert is placed in the paper. All the maidens of the
city turn up in pursuit of Buster / his inheritance. The preamble is
tiresome and the plot contrived, but the film is worthwhile for the long
chase scene it sets up - Buster fleeing his suitors though city and down a
rock strewn valley in a memorable sequence.
