Everything it should be, James Cameron's quirky sequel to Joe Dante's
hilarious Piranha is a retrospective delight. The premise is simple -
the Piranha scourge is back and this time they can fly! Cheap and gory,
but fun and infectious, Piranha 2 gives you no inkling whatsoever of
Cameron's potential, but bizarrely remains his most enjoyable
water-oriented movie yet.
