Michael J Fox and Christopher Lloyd visit the Old West! Yee-haw!
However, some of the originality has gone West with it, in this, the most
irksome of an otherwise exemplary science fantasy trilogy. The
problem is that Westerns have already been pastiched to death, and the
central romance between Lloyd and Steenburgen is, well, icky. It all
feels like it has been banged out as a quick solution; after the
complexity of Part II, it seems a bit simple. Still fun, but not up to its
lineage.
