deliciously dark attraction to spiky, iconoclastic material,
exemplified by his most recent outing, the deliriously filmic Fight
Club. Fincher began his career as a camera assistant at Industrial
Light & Magic, working on both Return Of The Jedi and Indiana Jones
And The Temple Of Doom before moving on to pop promos for the likes of
Madonna, Paula Abdul and Aerosmith. He made his feature debut with the
under-valued, critically-drubbed Alien 3, before resurrecting both
commercial and critical reputation with the dark, dank and truly
inspired Se7en. Has made The Game and Fight Club since.
