After Johnny Suede and Living In Oblivion, it looked like Tom DiCillo
could do no wrong. With Mr. Moonlight, he did, big-time. This tale of a
stressed perfectionist (Turturro) learning to let his hair down in the
great American wilderness trots out every cliché in the book.
It's predictable, preachy and not very funny, a waste of Turturro's
awesome comic gifts and DiCillo's dramatic talents. Skip this one and
check out their other work instead.
