This movie should have been subtitled the (Not-So-) Young and the
Desperate. Everyone from the director (he gave us Macaulay Culkin and
has YEARS to pay off on that debt…) down is using it as a vehicle to break
Hollywood. Moore, as Grant's wife, is playing to audiences familiar
with her from daytime soap As The World Turns, but even after years of
inanity, she looks irascible beyond the call of morning sickness as
Grant ums and ers his way through another adorable English dickhead.
Goldblum and Cusack provide entertainment value as sparring marrieds
coaching the Grant-Moore team into parenthood.
