Strange things always happen to Sarah (Tunney), so when she moves to
California and meets Nancy (Balk) and her friends, it's only a matter of
time before they notice, and ask her to join their circle. Average teen
stuff. Except Nancy and her friends are witches. Sarah is their fourth,
with her they can call the corners. Bad-mouthed by jock Chris (Skeet
Ulrich), Sarah joins with a vengeance. But Nancy is pursuing a hidden
agenda, and the magic turns black. Campbell went on to Scream, but this
one's Balk's; it's her tattoos, kohl-rimmed eyes and elastic mouth
that define the movie.
