Finally someone gets around to filming an Alice Hoffman novel, and they
take this corker and stuff it. Bullock and Kidman are sisters Sally and
Gillian, whose child selves are sent to live with their great-aunts –
who are, of course, witches. The girls inherit their powers (mainly of
the men-bewitching nature), but while Kidman wreaks havoc across
fifty states, Bullock is the plain one who stays put. Kidman returns
with a nasty corpse in her car, and the girls have to turn on all their
charms to keep him buried. Not so much The Craft as Craft &
