A quiet chick movie about a man (Hutton) who returns to his hometown for a
reunion, and finds nothing for him except old flames. Most of his high
school friends are still stuck there, and tensions arise because he has
escaped. But not many tensions. The wintry landscape is stunning, and
the real revelation is Natalie Portman (Leon) as the little girl next
door Hutton can't get out of his head. Her crush on him is beautifully
under-stated, and almost makes the film worth seeing.
