Bill And Ted's Bogus Journey
Originally released: 1991
Evil robot copies, surreally brilliant trips to Heaven and Hell, a game of Twister with Death; this knowing, slickly designed movie may be one of the few sequels ever to better its original. Debate among fans is intense, but Bogus' vision – from the Bill and Ted school of the future, to the floating lilac world of heaven – is a cut above Excellent. Some may claim that the rock and roll zaniness of the original is lost, but when Bill turns to God's scribe and offers his life-wisdom. In Little Angels lyrics. You know you're in the presence of genius.
